Well as you may have noticed I accidently deleted my old blog but I'm just going to pretend that never happened and continue on.This past weekend I got to spend a lot of my time with my lovely girlfriend Shannon and it was great. I was able to forget some of the stresses that come along with organizing a VBS type program and other ministry related stuff and just enjoy myself. On Saturday night Shannon and I ate dinner, tried to get in the pool but she was too much of a sissy, and than relaxed. Sunday afternoon I went into Halifax and we went downtown to the public gardens, the waterfront, crossed one of the bridges into Dartmouth, and watched the fireworks and than took a ferry back accross the harbour and went back to her house. We spent Canada Day with friends and it was a lot of fun.
Monday I went with Shannon and her family down to the Shubenacade Wild Life Park and for a pic nic and had a good time. It's good and important I realize to get away from work and take time for yourself and those who are close to you.
Anyways, this weekend I'm heading to MCF in Berwick, NS and am looking forward to it. I'm back home on the Island in 12 days for camp. Where is the summer going?
