I was able to forget some of the stresses that come along with organizing a VBS type program and other ministry related stuff and just enjoy myself. On Saturday night Shannon and I ate dinner, tried to get in the pool but she was too much of a sissy, and than relaxed. Sunday afternoon I went into Halifax and we went downtown to the public gardens, the waterfront, crossed one of the bridges into Dartmouth, and watched the fireworks and than took a ferry back accross the harbour and went back to her house. We spent Canada Day with friends and it was a lot of fun.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Ag76wYgk9Dw/RorJL0f51nI/AAAAAAAAABk/hNywjRgSKUM/s1600-h/Canada+Day+Weekend+053.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Ag76wYgk9Dw/RorJL0f51nI/AAAAAAAAABk/hNywjRgSKUM/s320/Canada+Day+Weekend+053.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5083096334349227634" border="0" /></a><br />Monday I went with Shannon and her family down to the Shubenacade Wild Life Park and for a pic nic and had a good time. It's good and important I realize to get away from work and take time for yourself and those who are close to you.<br />Anyways, this weekend I'm heading to MCF in Berwick, NS and am looking forward to it. I'm back home on the Island in 12 days for camp.
